Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was incredible! The rooms were spacious, quiet, and beautifully appointed with a fantastic bathroom and luxurious linens. The modern design offered a stunning wall-to-wall glass view of the serene stone and ivy inner courtyard. While the location was excellent for exploring, there were some challenges with getting taxis directly to the door. The service was exceptional, with a friendly and helpful team providing great suggestions without being pushy. Dining was a delightful experience with fresh dishes and attentive service, though a bit pricey for the offerings. Overall, a wonderful stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel is a beautiful gem in the heart of the Gothic district, offering spacious and comfortable rooms with AC, nice amenities, and strong, reliable Wi-Fi. The service provided by the staff is impeccable and goes above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay. The location is unbeatable for those who want to be in the midst of everything but prefer a quiet, authentic area.
I had a delightful and tranquil stay at the hotel. The rooms were perfect, quiet, and with a window overlooking the inner courtyard, making my experience truly peaceful. However, the dining options were a bit expensive for what was offered. The hotel's central location in Gothic Barcelona was ideal for exploring the area and finding excellent restaurants nearby.
My stay at the hotel was truly delightful. The room was modern with a wall-to-wall glass view of a stone and ivy inner courtyard and featured an amazing rainfall shower in a wet room. The service was outstanding, from the check-in with a complimentary champagne to the friendly and efficient staff throughout. The location was perfect, within walking distance of all the main attractions but tucked away from the crowds. The dining experience was superb, with a generous and elegant selection. Overall, a wonderful experience with just a few minor hiccups.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The junior suite was perfect for a few hours of rest before starting my day in the city. The quiet room with a view of the inner courtyard was lovely. The service was exceptional, especially when we asked for a suite due to my wife's preference, and they were very helpful with arranging taxis and providing information about the neighborhood. The inner Gothic Quarter location was a major plus, perfect for sightseeing and shopping. The dining experience was superb, though some staff may need more training for a 5* hotel.
The hotel is located in a very cool gothic area of Barcelona, great for wandering the narrow streets with shops and restaurants. The rooms are in a fantastic building with a wonderful walk-in shower at the Mercer hotel prior to check-in but are overdesigned to the point of becoming unfunctional due to bad layout design. The service is top-notch, helping with everything we wanted to inquire about, but unfortunately does not have GPS around the hotel and to your room. Dining in the patio with trees providing shade is great with a nice choice of fresh dishes, although it can be a little 'complicated'.
